Sorry for the lack of updates the last few days, but I’ve been busy on some projects for the DD and have just lost track of time. Recently my youngest daughter had a formal dance. Well not too formal, since some of the girls went as flappers, but as with most dances we met at one of the girls’ home and took pictures. Now I bought a new Canon Powershot not too long ago and am still trying to figure out some of the settings. When I take a picture of a card or project, normally I’ll take anywhere from six to seven just to get what I feel is a good picture. Most times I even go back and take more! But anyhoo, while taking pictures for the dance, one of the girls was carrying this gorgeous bouquet of red roses. She was standing by the window, the light was shining in and I just had to play with the camera a little. Using the macro feature and no flash, this is one of the pictures that I took that day. I just thought it was an interesting picture and such a beautiful rose. Hopefully I’ll be back to stamping for fun in the next day or so and will have some completed work that I will be able share. In the meantime, I hope everyone has a great day!
