I posted a Roses in Winter card last week using some colors that I had been playing with. I said then that I had one more card to show you, and today is the day. It so happens, that this card fits into the Featured Stamper Challenge on Splitcoast. Today’s Featured Stamper is reneejul1 a/k/a Julie Buhler. The object of the Featured Stamper Challenge is to pick a card from the Featured Stamper’s SCS Gallery, and change 2 or more things on the card. I based my card on Julie’s Linen Material Girl card.

This card is a little different from the one I posted earlier using smooshed roses. This time, I inked the rose with Cameo Coral and then rock and rolled in Pumpkin Pie. Stamped off one time and then stamped on Whisper White cardstock. I inked the stamp in the same way again, stamped off one time, and then turned the stamp one-quarter turn and stamped over the previous image. Each separate layer of the rose was stamped using the same technique. Flannel Plaid was stamped in Mellow Moss on White cardstock and also in Cameo Coral on the actual card. The edges of the rose panel and the second panel were sponged in Mellow Moss.
