Good morning all! I have such exciting news this morning. My friend, Carolyn King (Cammie on SCS), is the designer of the new stamps at Gina K. Designs. I was so honored when Carolyn sent me some of her new stamps and asked if I could make some cards. So yesterday, after Mallory was on her way back to school, I went to work in the studio and this is what I came up with.

This first card is using the Teddy Bear. I colored the image with Copic markers and drew some doodles. The background panels were made with round sponge daubers to pick up the polka dots on Teddy’s hat.

Teddy

Stamps: Teddy Bear and You Make me Feel all Fuzzy Inside by Carolyn King for Gina K. Designs

Paper: Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, SU Basic Black and Tempting Turquoise

Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, SU Tempting Turquoise and Green Galore

Accessories: May Arts Ribbon, Brads, Sponge Daubers, Mounting Tape, Copic Markers, Black Gel Pen

The second card is using the Owl, which I colored with Copic Markers and then sponged the edges with Tim Holtz Ranger Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink. The edges of the designer paper were also sponged with the distress ink and layered on Chocolate Chip.

OWL

Stamps: Owl and Hoo’s Having a Birthday by Carolyn King for Gina K. Designs

I so have some household chores to do, but I’m also in the mood to stamp — we’ll see what wins out!!!!!
