Good Sunday morning! It’s that time of the week again, another JBWW Challenge. This week I have another Sketch Challenge for you. Remember that if you post your card to your Splitcoast Gallery, to use the keyword JBWW. The set I used to make my sample today, is the new Boho Blossoms to be released by My Favorite Things on October 1. I stamped the flowers in Groovy Guava and cut them out so I could layer them on the smaller panel of River Rock Sand paper. I haven’t sewn all week, so I just couldn’t help myself – had to break out the sewing machine. Not only that, but I just so needed to do a little sponging along the edges of the Apple Cider paper. The centers of the flowers are made by sponging a bit of Groovy Guava on Whisper White and then stamping on the small elements from this set in Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink. I punched them out using the ½” circle punch, mounting them on River Rock and then punching those out with a 3/4″ circle punch. The middle flower and all the centers are raised with mounting tape. The card measures 5.5 x 5.5.

Paper: SU River Rock, Chocolate Chip and Apple Cider Designer
Ink: SU Groovy Guava, Tim Holtz Ranger Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink
Accessories: Sewing Machine, Sponge Daubers, Ribbon, Brads, Mounting Tape, ½” and 3/4″ circle punches

My fave driver is Jeff Gordon….hold your puke….lol….I have liked him since he came into the sport. I grew up watching my Dad drive stock cars, just locally around Ontario and Michigan. So we watched Nascar on tv and when Jeff came around, I liked him….he is the same age as me. Well, I’m sure his cute looks didn’t hurt any either!

Oh my word! We go to Daytona every year for the 500 but not this coming year. The past two years have been YUCKY! Last year we drove almost 5 days from here to get there since our passports didn’t come…lol…well they arrived 4 days after we left!
So cool that your Dad raced on the sand at Daytona!!! What a part of history that is!
My Dad sort of says the same thing, it’s not the same but it beats doing nothing on a Sunday!
