Happy Hump Day! Hope everyone is having a great day so far. The little shitz’ (the pups, Frick and Frack, the Freds [which is what my aunt calls them], Sydney and Miss Ellie) woke me up early this morning. It’s a shame the first one wasn’t a male. We could have named him Jock. Maybe if there is ever another one, and we still have Miss Ellie, I’ll name the new one that. Hehe, used to love Dallas and never missed an episode. The pups love to barrel into my bedroom in the mornings (quite early for me) and bark. Sometimes I pick them up and put them into bed with me, sometimes they just want a little huggle and off they go.

Since I was up early this morning (Which is a good thing because Kate’s stereo alarm is going Ba-BA Ba-BA Ba-BOOM, and she’s not here, AND her room is right below mine), Anyhoo, I was able to check the Splitcoast Sketch Challenge early this morning and was able to get it done before 9:00 a.m. I had actually started working with this image the other night, and had to put it aside for another pressing project, and realized with some modifications it would fit today’s Sketch Challenge.

The Latte Cup from Lizzie Anne Designs was stamped on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White and colored with Copic markers. For a little bit of fun, Tulip White Puffy Paint was added and then puffed with the heat gun. I had actually run this panel through the Cuttlebug with a square Nestability die the other night, embossed it, and had a scalloped layer behind it that was also embossed, but when I saw the sketch, I dropped the scalloped panel. One of the swirls from So Swirly was stamped in black and then outlined with a glitter pen. The steam on the latte was already outlined. All the white panels and the BasicGrey Figgy (which you can find here), were sponged with Always Artichoke.
