Happy Thursday ya’ll! Hope everyone has had a good week so far. I’ve been a little lazy the last few days actually and today doesn’t look like it’s going to be any different. I awoke early – 5:00 the pups came bouncing into my bedroom – by 6:00 we were up and moving. By 8:00 I was asleep on the couch. I either need to start going to bed earlier, or train myself to never sleep.

After another cup of I checked in on the Ways to Use it Challenge on Splitcoast. Today the challenge is to use a unique brad, and I most definitely have some of those. I started working on an image last night as I was walking through to the laundry room, and decided to finish it for today’s challenge. Now the problem is that I just started working. I didn’t give any thought to how the image would look with anything else. I even tore this card apart once, and changed ribbon, etc. So this is what I get when I work in a zone and have some fun creating with nothing but scraps.

The image was stamped with Brilliance Graphite Black and was colored with a combination of Prismacolor Pencils and Copic Markers. The snowflakes were stamped in Vanilla craft ink and then embossed with white EP. The edges of the cardstock and DP (scraps of BasicGrey Figgy) were sponged with distress ink. The brad and clous are from Creative Imaginations.
