Today is Sketch Challenge Day on Splitcoast, and after running around taking down the Holiday Decorations, shopping for clearance items and cleaning this place up, I took some time this morning to stamp. Then, I’ll finish getting things straightened up after the Holiday mess – but today, I had to stamp first!

I have been wanting to try today’s Sketch since I first saw it on Kirsten’s blog and I’m so glad that I had the change today!

SC158

I stamped the image of the lamb in Adirondack Pitch Black and then colored with Copic Markers. Using a 2-1/2″ circle punch, I punched out the image and sponged the edges in Shell Pink ink. The scalloped circle was made with a 3″ punch, I sponged the edges, and then placed my image on. A while gel pen was used to place the dots around the scallops. I started with a regular size card, and then cut 1-1/2″ inches off the bottom of the front. I sponged the edges of all the background layers with Shell Pink, and then they were sewn together. The sentiment was made using the small oval punch. For the inside of the card, I added a layer of yellow cardstock, and then a layer of white that I cut the bottom off with scalloped edged scissors. Every little girl needs their first bling, so I added a flower with a crystal for the center.
