Good morning! I hope you’ve had a good weekend so far. I had a great day yesterday. Kate has the pups for the weekend, even though she will be bringing them back home sometime this morning, which gave me a little break. I was able to get into the stamp room and organize a bit (I do have a house guest coming in) and then work on some upcoming projects I need to get done. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get a bit ahead before I leave Orlando.

One of the projects I worked on yesterday, was for Our Daily Bread Designs. The release of the two new sets, Sing to the Lord and Fishers of Men, is today. I have to say once again how much I love these images! Not only are they beautiful, but the detail is absolutely amazing. They are such a joy to color!

I have made one more sample for you today, using Sing to the Lord. This time I made the blue bird I had originally thought of when I first saw this set.

Blue Bird

The image was colored with Copic Markers, masked and the background was then airbrushed. I used the paper tole technique for the blossoms on the tree to add some dimension to the image.

Blue Bird Close Up

The edges of the background paper were sponged, and then sewn to the layer of pink. The image panel is raised on mounting tape.
