Today was play day in the studio.  All week long I’ve stamped for a purpose – meeting deadlines and design team requirements.  I decided this morning that today was my day to experiment and just to have fun with my stamping.

When I moved the studio downstairs, I purchased some of those Rubbermaid cloth cubes for storage.  In order to know what was in them, I wrote on shipping tags and tied them to the handles.  I’ve been wanting to make new tags, something more creative and colorful.  Well guess what?  Today I did!  There are still a few more tags to make, but at least I have started them.

This one is for the storage cube I keep my Ranger/Tim Holtz products in.

Last week I became the lucky recipient of some 7 Gypsies products to play around with.  I know that all the products will fill one storage cube, so I had to have one for that product.

In my closet I have two cubes full of alterable items.  These cubes will be moved out to the stamping area so that I don’t forget I have them.  Some of the lesser used items will be moved to the closet.   I’m really very pleased with this tag, imagining the possibilities of what could be made with these items.

I hope you’ve had a great week and enjoy your weekend.  I’ll be playing in the studio over the weekend, making sure I’m ready to leave for York, PA next week.  Which reminds me – I will be working in the Rubbernecker booth at the York, PA show October 4th and 5th.  We still need one more demonstrator, so if you are local to the show and interested, send me an email.
