Good morning.  Smiley from millan.net What a trip I’ve had!  I’m on my way home this morning – back to my corner of the sofa and my pot of coffee.  I’m just a tad bit tired and my feet hurt, but I’ve had so much fun!

Before I get into highlights of my trip, Smiley from millan.net it’s Treasure Hunt Tuesday at Rubbernecker!  You can find all the deets on the Rubbernecker Stamps Blog.  You’ll also see that we’ve added two new Guest Designers to the team – Joan Ervin and Pam Hooten.  Not only that, but Bev and Jules are going to stay with us as permanent designers – Smiley from millan.net.

I don’t have a card for you today – we didn’t get into Bev’s until very early morning yesterday and I’m sure I don’t need to tell you that we were just wiped out.  It was a lazy day with naps in the afternoon.

The past few days were just a whirlwind of working hard, sightseeing, seeing some old friends and making some new ones.

We had dinner with Jenn at Chili’s our first night.  (me, Jenn, Sharon Coleman, Joan and Bev)

Dinner w/Jenn

Then after dinner we just had to see the Alamo at night.  Last year we forgot the Alamo – we remembered this year!

Alamo

On Saturday I was busy working with alcohol inks when I looked up and recognized a face in front of me – I’d seen it many times on her blog – Libby Hickson!  This picture I swiped from her blog.

By Sunday we were wiped out and just a little punchy!  Here we are, Joa, Bev, me and Sharon acting silly while tearing down the booth.

I suppose that’s all I have for you today — I am just a little brain dead.  I did learn some new tricks with the alcohol inks over the weekend and will be showing you those in a few days.  Have a good one!

  10. Thank you so much Sherry! I met you on Saturday, stayed to watch all the ladies demo the alchol inks and ditress pads! I loved them before but you showed me what it was all about. So I came back on Sunday and stayed until you packed up. I was with you when you made your new discovery, so I can say I knew you then. You are wonderful to take time to teach us new tricks for a fun product. I have been using your techniques and loving it!!! I had so much fun with your group. Next time you are in San Antoinio let me know! You deserve some time off after the show you put on. Your group of ladies are very talented, I hope they all made it home safely too.
Now I am motivated to try these techniques at stamp club on Friday!
    Hugs,
    Rhodeen

  11. !!!!~~~~[[ Welcome Back Stranger ! ]]~~~~!!!!

I missed your projects and postings Miss Badness, but knew you were having a wonderful time at the show. Thanks for sharing the pics of all the Ladies with the big huge smiles; I’m kinda jealous, AGAIN, that RN never seems to come North of the border; I’m hoping that will change soon. Can’t wait to see your new discoveries Sherry, as I’m now the proud owner of six shades of alcohol reinkers. Do you think this has anything to do with YOUR influence? Bawwwaaa

P.S. In the final photo, were you participating in a “Conga Line” or were you all just in the mood for a ~snuggle~? 😉
