I can hardly believe that this week is just about over.  I finally got into the studio Friday night and was able to work for a few hours.  When I finished my card, I don’t know why I didn’t go ahead and take my photos.  I had forgotten, yes once again, that Mallory and her friends would be arriving home this morning.  They came rolling in around 4:00 a.m., and when I got up this morning I didn’t dare walk downstairs and wake them all up.

I ended up taking all the girls, Kate and mom included, to lunch and then had to come home and take a nap myself.  That Target trip absolutely wore me out.  The weather has been to ugly the last couple of days, and instead of everyone working in their yards . . . they were all in Target today!  The girls leave in the morning to head back to school, so I’m glad I got to spend a day with them.  They are all way too funny!

Speaking of funny, I love the Home set from Artistic Outpost.  I had to giggle while I was making this card.

And then here’s the inside.  Sorry this pic is a little darker.

AO Greetings Home Inside

The image was water colored with Ranger Distress Reinkers and then I tore the edges and sponged them with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo.  The Home sentiment was stamped on the background paper with Aged Mahogany.

I hope you’ve had a good weekend so far and thanks for stopping by!  By the way, I’m still toying with the camcorder . . . I keep looking at it, but I’m a little scared to let you hear and see me.

  5. Fun sentiment, neat stamp and coloring!

  6. I like the whole county, distressed look of this. It’s so funny to have such a rather serious looking card on the outside, and inside you find a sentiment that cracks you up!
