Smiley from millan.net Morning all!  I hope everyone had a terrific day yesterday.  I unpacked from my Dallas Adventure, sorted laundry and generally got caught up on things.

Just before I left for Dallas, Jessica Knutsen, owner and creator of There She Goes Clear Stamps, emailed me and asked if I would be the April Guest Designer for her.  Now typically when someone contacts me like this, the stamp set must be hilarious and one Her Royal Badness would love.  Jessica emailed me a photo of the Tastes Like Chicken set and I knew immediately that I had to work with it.

I’m sorry I missed the Blog Hop with the other girls on the team, but being in Dallas cut my time in preparing.  Anyhoo, here’s my first card from Tastes Like Chicken!

I water colored the possum with Ranger Distress Reinkers and then cut the image and panel behind it out with Spellbinders Petite Oval Nestabilities.  The sentiment tag is cut from Spellbinders Round Top Tag Shapeabilities.  All the edges were sponged with SU Basic Gray.  To attach the sentiment, I found an old black button in my stash and sewed it to the tag with DMC floss.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a fabulous day!

Good morning to all!  There is so much to show and talk about today!  While in Texas the Design Team were given 7 new Background Stamps that are being released today by Rubbernecker Stamps!

While in Texas, Joan was called away on a family emergency, so I decided to challenge the Design Team and you to create a stampy background card for the WACKY WEDNESDAY Challenge.  I find that I use them in my main image panel more and more, but I couldn’t resist creating this card.  As a matter of fact, this was one of the cards that was video taped for my technique demo, which will be available on Rubbernecker very, very soon.  Well, as soon as Mr. Rubbernecker gets back home!  You’re gonna be surprised and thrilled with all the new stuff coming your way . . . I know the Red Hot Mommas (the DT as they are affectionately known) are!Which brings me to some other news.  Rubbernecker is now carrying Prism and Prismatic Packs (which is what I used for my card), May Arts Ribbon and 7 Gypsies paper and various other items from  7 Gypsies.

My card is made using the Alcohol Ink Faux Bleach Technique and one of the new floral backgrounds.  I don’t have this card, leaving it in Texas with Mr. Rubbernecker, so I had to take the photo on the fly right before I left Bev’s house.
