Good morning all!  Smiley from millan.net I’m stepping in today to host the Rubbernecker WACKY WEDNESDAY Challenge this week.  My challenge to you and the Rubbernecker Red Hot Mommas is to make a card that contains ovals.  Your image, sentiment, anything can be on the oval  . . .  doesn’t matter, as long as your project has at least one oval.  You can find all the details about participating in the challenge and how to win a 40% Discount on your next Rubbernecker order at the Rubbernecker BlogHere’s my sample to get you started:  Is it tea time?

Well of course it is . . .  Long Island Iced Tea!  mmmmm, mmmmm . . .  so very refreshing!

When I saw this image, I knew immediately what I was going to do.  I haven’t had a Long Island Tea in such a long time . . .  I vaguely remember that they will eventually bite you in the  butt however.  I was looking for some colorful paper to use, since it is Long Island Tea, and eventually settled on BasicGrey Mellow.  Seriously this wasn’t intentional, but how great is this . . .  Long Island Tea makes one mellow, and I picked Mellow paper.  Smiley from millan.net

  3. That paper is very Aztec looking and could not be any better with a Lonnnng Island Ice tea. Those things do kick your butt. I think there are like 7 different types of alcohol in them…Anyway… Great job on this card. I love the paper. It goes so well with your image. Super challenge. Thanks for hosting.

  4. Another drink that I haven’t had since I was in my 20’s (and we won’t discuss how long ago that was!!)

Well worth the frustration!! (wink)….This is wonderful!! The color combination is just summer!!

  5. Great card Sherri- brings up good (and not so good) memories about LI Iced Teas! Love the colors you chose- inspires me to dig out that paper pack- TFS.

  9. Oh my gosh! My favoritest beverage indeed! Iced Tea … with or without ‘additions’ is on our daily menu during these too-hot days in Texas! Check the ‘fridge … it’s in there!
    Love, love your oval-teas!

  10. I love this, Sherry!!! I remember a time…….

  11. Haven’t ever had a long island tea but have heard it is good. I usually stick to Margaritas on the rare occasions I have anything caloric to drink. LOL Pretty paper you used.
