Good morning!  Hope y’all have had a good week so far.  It seems like I’ve been busy, but I’m not getting much accomplished.  Oh well, maybe it’s just meant to be . . . me spinning my wheels (only it’s not in a convertible)!    I really think it’s more like this . . . but I’ve lost the paddle!

My card today was a fun one to make.  I’ve been trying different papers with the Wrinkle Free Distress technique, and have absolutely fallen in love with the results I get when using watercolor paper.  No kidding!  Watercolor paper!  Try it sometime, it is fabulous.

The background is watercolor paper that I’ve made using the Wrinkle Free Distress technique and Broken China, Dusty Concord and Peeled Paint Distress Inks.  The background for the new 468 Flower Silhouettes (released by Rubbernecker tomorrow) was made the same way but with Broken China, Shabby Shutters and Vintage Photo Distress Ink.  It’s also on a small manila shipping tag instead of watercolor paper.  Can you see the difference?  The flower image was colored with Tombow Markers, misted with water, and then stamped on the tag.  One of my very favorite techniques of all time!
