Good morning!  This is my third Sunday of Flourishes Limelight Designer and here’s the card I have posted on the Flourishes Newsletter today.

SherryCheeverFlourishesLilacsJune21

I have loved this Lilac Set since I first saw it.  The set reminds me of when I was a little girl and my grandmother’s neighbor had 2 Lilac bushes in her front yard.  The way they grew, there was a section in the middle that we could crawl through and hide in.  I don’t know that my grandmother’s like it too well, when we did that, but as long as we kept the balls out of her backyard all was good!  I remember her being a little cranky at times, but then she was the neighbor that taught me to knit . . . who knows.  Anyhoo, I’ve always had a fondness for lilacs!

Good morning all!  Smiley from millan.net I’m stepping in today to host the Rubbernecker WACKY WEDNESDAY Challenge this week.  My challenge to you and the Rubbernecker Red Hot Mommas is to make a card that contains ovals.  Your image, sentiment, anything can be on the oval  . . .  doesn’t matter, as long as your project has at least one oval.  You can find all the details about participating in the challenge and how to win a 40% Discount on your next Rubbernecker order at the Rubbernecker BlogHere’s my sample to get you started:  Is it tea time?

Well of course it is . . .  Long Island Iced Tea!  mmmmm, mmmmm . . .  so very refreshing!

When I saw this image, I knew immediately what I was going to do.  I haven’t had a Long Island Tea in such a long time . . .  I vaguely remember that they will eventually bite you in the  butt however.  I was looking for some colorful paper to use, since it is Long Island Tea, and eventually settled on BasicGrey Mellow.  Seriously this wasn’t intentional, but how great is this . . .  Long Island Tea makes one mellow, and I picked Mellow paper.  Smiley from millan.net

Thanks for stopping in and I hope it’s a great day for you!

Smiley from millan.net Good Tuesday morning!  How y’all doing today?  I finally finished up all my dental appointments yesterday . . . just love having root canal.  Then last week I lost my temporary crown  . . . forgot and chewed some gum.  There was an emergency run last week to have the temp put back on and the permanent crown was put on yesterday.  WOO HOO!!!!

Remember that little image I showed you yesterday?  Most everyone thought it was beer.  Well, you were close . . . but hey, I’m a coffee drinker and there’s only one thing I like in my coffee — BAILEYS!  Oh and the Manhattan Transfer mention . . . one of my favorite songs . . . Java Jive!

I think today I’ll actually show you the card instead of another sneak peek . . . you’re getting a preview today instead!  The sets I’m working with this week will be released by Rubbernecker Stamps on Thursday!  (you know that also means that the Red-Hot Mommas are strolling again)

458CoffeeTimeSetBaileys

Now of course, this image is probably a latte but since I Smiley from millan.net Baileys, it’s coffee and Baileys topped with whipping cream.  mmmmmmmm, mmmmmmm – lip smacking good!

Anyhoo, the image was colored with Copic Markers and then the topping was made with Tulip Puffy Paint that was sprinkled with glitter.  I let the puffy paint air dry some and then puffed it up with my heat tool.  I went digging for some paper to match the image, and found these scraps of BasicGrey Infuse that I just had to use.

Thanks for visiting the BAD Side today.  Join me tomorrow when there is another Wacky Wednesday Challenge and more previews of the new releases from Rubbernecker Stamps!

Happy Monday!  I hope y’all enjoyed your weekend and your week is starting off well.  I have a little something to show you today.  It’s a Sneak Peek of one of the new images being released by Rubbernecker this Wednesday.  I have to tell you that I’m very excited about this set and I think some of you will be too!

Do you know what it is?  Have any good guesses?

Does it make you think of the Manhattan Transfer?  It does me!
