Happy Monday! I can’t believe it, but all my chores are finally done. The house is decorated for Christmas, the bills are paid, the doctor visits are almost over and now I need to get busy in the studio. Not much time to do so much in. You see I’m having hand surgery on the 18th and I know that I need to have some special projects done before then because . . . well, what if I can’t use my left hand for awhile? Ya know what I mean?
I’m still working on T!m’s 12 Tags of Christmas, when I should probably be doing other things, but I just can’t help myself. I’m also very behind . . . I sure hope I get to do them all! Today, I have Tag 4. Here’s T!m’s Tag 4 and my version below.
I added some ribbon and a few Spellbinders™ to see if I could incorporate them on a tag. Yes, I can! Using the Ranger Gold Paint Dabber, I went around the edges of the tag and the oval sentiment. While the border was still in the die, I stenciled with the gold paint. Now that was just too cool . . . I may be doing that a little more in the future! One other touch I almost forgot about . . . I spritzed all the paper with Worn Lipstick/Gold Pearlized Distress Mist. I think it took some of the other colors out of the tag and if I had to do it over, I don’t know that I would. But hey you never know until it’s done.
