Good morning and 
. For those of you following my saga of my neighbor’s tree, well today could be the day . . . we are expecting wind gusts up to 60 mph. Mr. Stodgy, upon hearing today’s forecast, took some pictures up to our insurance company so that they had notice of the tree and our garage. Of course, I’m looking at this as a means of redecorating . . . Mr. Stodgy not so much. Can you even imagine?

Mr. Stodgy was talking about parking his vehicle in the front of the house last night so that he could get out in the morning . . . just in case! I told him my car was going to stay were it was 
Now that I’ve had my folly, lets get to Tag 6 of T!m’s 
12 Tags of Christmas. Hey, I’m catching up . . . almost! Another day or two like yesterday in the studio and I’ll be smokin’! Here’s T!m’s Tag 6 (do you think someday there will be a smiling bowing to me . . . 
)
I truly felt the need to make this tag. It’s the car, definitely the car . . . AND I don’t even have the stamp! Whatever am I thinking? I have one of T!m’s cars, but not this particular one. Why the car you ask? Because when I was a little girl my grandfather had a Model T Touring Car . . . no windows except a windshield. It was great fun when he would pull the car out of the garage and take us for a drive around town. People would look, stare, wave . . . we absolutely LOVED it! He eventually sold that car and purchased a Model A. It wasn’t as much fun, but it did have heat and windows! I traveled to many antique car shows with my grandparents in the car . . . top speed, maybe 35/45 mph. My mother inherited the Model A when my grandfather passed away, storing it at my uncle’s business in Hodgenville. She recently brought it home and I believe it is now in the possession of my sister and her husband (he’s a car buff too).
Since I didn’t have the stamp, I went on a Google search and found a picture I thought I could substitute. I printed it out and then glued it down to Grunge Board. It was cut out and then inked with Vintage Photo and Black Soot Distress Ink to not be so darned photo’ish. Oh I also covered the tag with some of my favorite script paper from K&Company. For the snow on the tree, I added some Tulip Puff Paint and sprinkled on sparkly fluff, heat set it and then squashed it a little. The sentiment is covered with Rock Candy Distress Stickles . . . I love how glittery it is!

Way to be creative with the car, which by the way, I love.
I remember Daddy telling me about the car he drove to college (early 60’s). It was a Model A (I think) and he was so embarrassed to drive it that he parked in a far off lot from the college. You see, he had to crank start it! Now, he wishes he still had that old car. Funny how age changes our outlook and feelings about things.

Hope the tree stays up today through your storm … we had a Birch Tree come down six weeks ago in our neighbour’s veggie garden .. what a mess to clean up. We are fortunate, they are great neighbours and even helped us clean up the wood.

I thought I was in love with the Santa until I saw this. Thanks for telling how you did the car. I haven’t used the Distress inks, hmmm, guess those need to go on the Christmas list huh because I sure like how yours turned out. Can I be on your Christmas list?
