Happy Monday! I hope y’all had a great weekend . . . I raced all day Saturday (oh yeah my guy has the pole for the 500 . . . go daddy, go!) Happy to see Danica is going to be in the Nationwide race as well . . . she did a great job on Saturday! The only problem was with the broadcasters . . . you didn’t know there were other drivers on the track. Yesterday we played football . . . how about you? Bummer that the Colts lost, but am so happy for the Saints!
I remember seeing on the Moxie Fab World Blog some time ago that there was an Anne Taintor card challenge. Now it’s no secret that I’m a huge Anne Taintor fan and some of my best cards (the pecker card) have been inspired by her. I’ve had this challenge in the back of my mind knowing that one day I would get the perfect idea. I think I’ve got it!
This image reminds me of driving down my boulevard on the back of a convertible (Ya-Ya style) . . . yes old enough to know better, but young enough not to give a rat’s ass! Then the other day I received my Graphic 45 On The Boardwalk paper . . . too perfect not to use it!
- Image: Heartwarming Vintage Collection Girlfriends Images & Journal Notes by Crafty Secrets (from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store); Sentiment from Anne Taintor and computer generated
- Paper: Graphic 45 On the Boardwalk Collection (from eclectic Paperie); Prism Iced Yellow; Basic Black
- Ink: Ranger Old Paper Distress (from eclectic Paperie)
- Accessories: Spellbinders™ S4-130 Classic Rectangles – Small and S4-132 Classic Rectangles – Large; 7/8” Natural Gingham May Arts Ribbon (from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store); Sewing Machine; Foam Mounting Tape
I hope you have a fabulous day and remember . . . life is short, make the most of the day’s adventures!
LOVE THIS so much, Sherry!!! It’s so you (and me)!!!
SO fab- love it!
Loved your card! You tell it like it is!
Oh, yeah!!!
LMAO !!!
I love this card and I am also a fan of Anne Taintor. Her stuff is so cool.
Lovely card. I’m snowed in and getting lots of stamping done!
BWHAHAAA!! This is fabulous! (and who gives a rat’s ass is one of my favorite sayings!!…..shhhhh…..don’t tell anyone, it will disillusion those who think I’m such a “nice” girl!!)
Hi Sherry, you’re such a boy! Racing cars and football, you must be fit too and after what you’ve been through…. I can’t talk though, I loved kicking a ball too when I was younger, and my hubby has cars on the brain enough for the two of us, he’s very clever though (mechanic) and keeps my “buggy” fit and healthy for me on the road.
The card is great, & I love that saying too.
I love your sense of humour, you always make me smile.
Thanks.
Way too cool!
Love it!
Rats ass! So cute! great background paper!

Hey Sherry! Thanks for entering the Taintor-tude Challenge in the Moxie Fab World! 🙂
