Smiley from Good morning!  How are y’all today?  I have sorority social at my house tonight so I spent yesterday doing some cleaning . . . . I know, I know . . . such an ugly word!  You know things like washing rugs, mopping floors  . .Smiley from . . all those dreaded must dos every once in a while.

For my card today, I thought it would be fun to show you an entirely different look for the poppy I posted yesterday.  I thought yesterday’s card was pretty plain for me . . .  no distressing, not much layering  . . .  pretty clean actually.

Well, I just couldn’t help myself last night!  Lots of distressing, layers on layers, sponging until you rub the sponge off the dauber, and red poppies colored with Copic Markers.  It makes you think of Dorothy and Toto  . . .

The striped frame was made from light weight chipboard covered in the paper.  YES, my Labels Four Nesties cut through the chipboard coaster!

That’s all for today . . . thanks for stopping by and remember . . . life is short, take advantage of the adventures that come your way!

Good morning!  I’m off today finally getting Copic Certified.  The best part is Lori Craig is my instructor  . . . I haven’t seen Lori since last Summer CHA!  I hear rumors that other people I know will be there too . . . .  I will be taking the camera!

Today is the Just For Fun® Color Challenge #8.  Broni challenged us to use the following colors this week.

We hope you will participate along with us and post a direct link to your project on the Just For Fun® Blog using Mr. Linky.  The winner of last week’s 25% Discount is also posted on the Just For Fun® Blog but I’ll tell you here that it is Sylvia from Little Treasures.  Sylvia if you see this, send me an email and I’ll tell you how to claim your discount.

The JFF Design Team deadline has passed and the new designers will be announced Monday on the Just For Fun® Blog.

I don’t have a card today.  I was going to work on it last night, but stupid me . . . . I took the car up to the self-serve carwash and closed my finger in the door.  It’s a little sore and won’t bend so there was no stamping for me.  I’ll make sure I get something done the first part of the next week though.

Thanks for stopping by today!
