Smiley from millan.netGood morning. So sorry I didn’t get anything posted yesterday. Tuesday was a day for laundry and just being lazy and I never made it into the studio. Then I had a meeting Tuesday night and just barely made it home in time to see Dancing with the Stars. I totally missed American Idol, but did get to see it last night. I so wanted Crystal to win, but I know she is going to have a great career no matter what!

I went into the studio early yesterday because it was so warm and muggy here and with the air conditioner on the basement is cooler. I got lost in the creative process and only came out to eat dinner. As I was getting ready to walk the pups after dinner, I opened the garage door and there were my mother and uncle walking in. They had been to Wendy’s to get Frosties and decided to stop by. We had a great visit until my uncle got tired and it was time for them to move along.

Anyhoo, back to the creative process. I have to say that I got totally lost in today’s project. For me this was a project that when I had the final finishing touch on I just knew it. No need to add anything else or take something away . . . . it was complete. I even did something new!

Some years back I bought mom a Black and Decker Wizard which is much like a Dremel. I have never used it because I didn’t know what all the accessories were for and didn’t know what to do with them. I’ve looked at it, tried it a few times and kept throwing my hands up in confusion. You see, there were no instructions or manual with the Wizard, just a bunch of what I considered junk. I decided two weeks ago it was time to learn how to use the tool. Knowing that all rotary tools had to be similar, I ordered a DVD from Dremel and it came this week. I watched all the videos, downloaded charts and much to my surprise . . . . I was able to cut a coat hanger in half tonight with my Wizard.

You can see here why I wanted a coat hanger . . . it’s the hanger for the project!

It’s a little out of shape from my total manhandling, but I actually like it that way!

There’s lots of stuff going on with this project and really too much to try and explain. I’ll leave it to you to look over, find all the little elements and then if you have any questions I’ll gladly answer them.

Let me do say however, that the background paper is October Afternoon The Thrift Shop and all the images are from Crafty Secret’s Sew Nice Creative Scraps. The chipboard is also Crafty Secrets.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!

Remember, life is short . . . . make the most of each day and enjoy the adventures that come your way!
