Happy Saturday!  Hope you’re having a good weekend so far.  I met Kate over in Clarksville this afternoon and I swear I’m not going shopping again unless it’s during the week.  The best part though was seeing all the little ones lined up to see Santa  . . . way too much fun!

I’ve been drawing a blank on projects the last few days . . . not really knowing what I wanted to do.  This always happens to me when I’ve been working on something big . . . it normally takes me a few days to get back in the swing of it all.  Those big projects . . .  they’re a secret . . . you’ll see more of them in January!  I know it’s a long time to wait, but if you’re a Spellbinders™ fan the wait will be well worth it!

I decided on a simple card today.  It’s made with one of my new Studio 490 sets – Art-Fully Said.  This set has been on my wish list forever and I finally broke down and purchased it a few weeks ago.

I colored the flower image with Tombow Markers, misted it with water and then stamped it on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White.  The background from the set was stamped over the flower in Antique Linen Distress Inks.  The flower was then die cut/embossed with S4-138 Petite Ovals – Large and layered on a panel of black die cut/embossed with S4-139 Petite Scalloped Ovals – Large.

My border is made with S4-239 Classic Scalloped Borderabilities® Petite and the ribbon is May Arts from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.   AND hey . . . did you noticed I sewed?  I feel like I haven’t used my sewing machine in months!

Well, I’m off.  Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!
