Late last night it occurred to me that it was a year to the day that I had my cancer surgery.  A year ago today I was sitting in my recliner (now retired because it got too comfortable) with mega stitches in my head and sporting a half-hawk.

This morning I decided to look back over the last blog year and I’ve got to say . . . its really has been one hell of a year hasn’t it?  Between the cancer and a broken wrist there are many days when I didn’t post.  For those of you who follow me on a daily basis, thank you!  You’ve had to read a whole bunch of crap haven’t you? Thank you for sticking by me this past year and encouraging me along the way.

While scrolling through my posts, I picked out some of my favorite projects over the past year and thought I would share them with you.  So without further dribble from me, my 2010 Favorites in no particular order:

Thanks for stopping by today and . . . .Smiley from millan.net

  1. Yep, it’s been one hell0veayear and you’ve come through “all the stronger”. I haven’t been with you the whole ride .. but the part I’ve seen has been quite a ride. Thanks for daring to share.

  2. Sherry, these are all so amazingly inspirational! I really loved your Christmas “tags” as well.. you do the most creative things.. I loved that your “tags” were more than just a simple tag created on card, but were made on wood, creating a lasting stand alone decorative accessory.. a year-to-year treat for your home, or for gifting.. You ROCK lady!

  3. WOW! Is all I can say. Your projects are amazing and I thank you for the “ride” this year. I have so enjoyed it and look forward to your 2011 creations. Such talent, such inspiration!

I am going to go back over these projects and I love the flowers and think I may have an obsession. I can’t grow them, have collected enough dies and stamps to make tons of them and yet haven’t. This is just the kick start I needed. Thanks again.

  4. Hi Sherry, we first met at the class with Wendy in Greenwood Indiana and I thought you were the bravest woman I’d met in ages. What I remember most was your sense of humor -still intact – and the joy you took in every moment. An example for us all and your works of art are so very inspiring and beautiful. I’m voting for the configurations you made this year as my fav – the stories and the special pieces you used were AMAZING!!!! Yep, it’s been a challenging year so I think 2011 will be knock your socks off full of good surprises and blessings – love ya… happy new year 😉

  5. Sherry, I’m so inspired by your courage, your guts, your spirit, and then, of course, your creative talents.
