Good Monday morning!  I hope you have a good weekend and you’re ready to start the week.  Me?  It was good.  I shopped with Kate on Saturday and spent the rest of the time in the studio.  It was all good!

So I promised the other day that I would be back with more details for my second project on the Spellbinders Hop post.

This project to be exact.

This one started out as a chipboard page that I covered with Graphic45’s Botanicabella paper.  The excess paper was sanded off and then the sides were inked with Vintage Photo.  A quick swipe with a gold paint dabber highlighted the edges then.

All the foliage and the flower were made with GrungePaper.  The darker green is Peeled Paint and the lighter is Crushed Olive.  For the flower, the GrungePaper was over stamped in Lemonade pigment ink with the dotted background from Studio 490 – Seriously Art.    Each layer of the flower was then inked with Rusty Hinge.

The video below shows you how to make this flower.  However, I didn’t use GrungePaper in the video, I used white cardstock for those who don’t have any grunge around the stamping area.

Of course, I had to add a few trinket pins, some mini bottles and other little accessories.  The butterfly, the paper in and on the bottles and the music are all portions of the paper from the Botanicabella line.  The middle is a mini safety pin.  The ribbon was ivory that I dyed with Rusty Hinge ink to match the flower.

Oh and of course, I had to have a shelf made from hobby craft wood that was painted black and sanded to leave that worn look.  It was highlighted with Vintage Photo ink.

For this and the main CHA project, I fastened them to an old picture frame back so there would be an easel to make them stand up.  It worked great!

Well, that’s about all I have today.  Now tomorrow is another story . . . . you don’t want to miss The E-Team Hop . . . oh my BADness . . . what I’ve seen so far is absolutely out of this world FABULOUS!

Thanks for stopping by and remember . . .  life is short, embrace the adventures that come your way today!
