is on my work desk today! What’s on yours?
Yes, it’s Hump Day and that means its another installment of What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday! I also see that it’s #85!
When I got up late this morning and it hit me that it was Wednesday I had to run down to the studio and actually see what was on my desk. After the last eclectic Paperie hop and sorority last night I didn’t make it into the studio yesterday and I wasn’t sure what remnants were left.

There’s my hot glue gun, some bottles of paint and my brushes are still in the glass of water . . . must bring those up to clean! I see my coffee mug is still sitting down on the other desk too. I must have been in a hurry to get upstairs to write my post. Actually my laptop normally sits down there on the Hoosier, but I had brought it upstairs to work the day before.
I noticed that my fairy was hanging there over my head and thought you would like to see what that it all about.
It’s a bird cage my mother gave me back last year (something she didn’t want) and on Halloween I put the Christmas Fairy in there. I think I had been watching Hocus Pocus again and was inspired . . . .
She’ll remain there locked up and I’ll keep adding fun inspiring thing I find along my adventures. The little fairy hanging outside is a Christmas ornament I found this year and just hung her there . . . I like her and I like the sentiment, Cherish simple moments!
I’m also contemplating what to pack for CHA next week. Any one else going? What type of clothes are you packing?

What a wonderful place to play. I wish I had the drive to completely clean after playing but I am like a toddler in that I don’t put my toys away well.
Whoa Sherry I am very impressed it is nice and clean!! I love the bird cage and fairy so cute!! I have two small fairy’s sitting on my work desk. 🙂 I wish I could say I was going to Cha… 🙁 I envy you!! But then again you work hard for that all year long so go and have fun take plenty of pic’s! 🙂 Lucky duck !

I love that you have a lovely clear space to create, I must take a tidy leaf from your book Sherry and apply it to my wee room. I’ve too much stuff and it’s over flowing my storage areas and fills my work top.
Photo’s not allowed there, it’s WAAAY too messy.
Like Katie, the not putting toys away sums me up too, lol.
I end up playing on the floor when my work top gets bad.
It’s the “Notty step” for me I think, lol

WHAT does one pack for CHA?!! OMG!! (yes, I was working with the 20something girls again today!) I’m sooo excited…..what to wear, what to wear….perish the thought of shopping for it… I don’t want to know how much weight I gained over the holidays! (dang…shouldn’t have eaten those oreos right now!!)
Must put my Big Shot on a comfy mat – would probably stop it going off the end of the top its stood on. Poor fairy being locked in the cage – what did she do to deserve that I wonder.

I love the way you have used the birdcage, so creative. If that was leaving in a hurry, you must be a very tidy crafter. Incidentally, if I tried to craft on the floor, I would never get back up again.
neat glimpse at your room, I bought a bird cage similar to that last fall at the flea market, still haven’t decided what to do with it, thinking of making a bird out of fabric and putting it in there. Hope you have a good trip!

I’ll be at CHA so if I see you I will holler. I am packing crop pants, loose baggy tops (mainly to cover rather large derriere which has extended all the way round). Not sure where you are bsut I am staying with a friend in
LA and it has been warm but some days windy. Is that any help?
