Happy Memorial Day (or as my grandfather called it, Decoration Day Smiley from millan.net)!

Do you remember this Graphic 45 Sneak Peek I shared with you earlier?

Today is Steampunk Monday over on the Graphic 45 Blog, and you’ll be able to see the entire project.  You won’t see the directions, but I’ll give those to you at a later date.  I think this is one of my all time favorite projects!

Thanks for popping in today!

  2. Love your work, look forward to seeing everything you do. Thanks for sharing it.

  3. Great detail! My grampa (WWI vet) and dad (WWII vet) also called it decoration day. The first thing we did (as kids) on decoration day was to meet at the Amvet Bldg. with our bundle of flowers, and then march in the parade to the cemetery with the HS band, the Veterans, and then after the ceremony, someone would play Taps, and that’s when we scattered with our flowers and laid one bouquet on each and every fallen veteran’s grave. I wish the day was still thought of with that sort of respect.

  4. fantastic project as always. love all the details
