Happy Friday!  I hope y’all have had a good week and are looking forward to the weekend.  I’m finding myself in crunch time here trying to get the normal monthly stuff done plus work on CHA projects.  As a matter of fact, the card I’m going to show you today has been sitting on my desk unfinished for 4 days.  Just not enough time in my days right now!

I know you didn’t come here to listen to me whine (yes, I’ll have some cheese please) and complain about all that is going on.

I got my hands on some 7 Gypsies Conservatory paper the other day and immediately had to open in it.  I’ve loved this paper since Winter CHA.  Actually, I had the JustRite lilies colored and sitting on my desk the day the paper arrived.  Once I opened the paper, I knew that it would match the lilies.

The lilies were stamped on watercolor paper and then water colored with Spiced Marmalade, Fired Brick, Dried Marigold, Wild Honey, Rusty Hinge, Peeled Paint, Crushed Olive and Mustard Seed.  The border was stamped in Archival Coffee.  Because the colors were a little pale and soothing, I thought it would be fun to have orange ribbon . . . I dyed the seam binding with Spiced Marmalade (with a touch of Vintage Photo and Antique Linen) using this technique.

Short post from me today as I have too much on my plate and should not dilly dally.

I hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
