Hey ever body! I know I’ve been away from my blog recently . . . longer than I like actually. There has been a lot going on here on The BAD Side! Not only have I been overly swamped with CHA projects, but the damn mojo 
took a vacation to some sandy beach, drinking umbrella drinks 
and left me at home!
Of course, you know about my uncle passing (because I wrote about it) but Mr. Stodgy 
had to have surgery and we were out of town for 3 days seeing a specialist and having the surgery done in Indianapolis. I was able to take one day (while he was resting in between surgeries) to visit my favorite stamp store, Papertrix in Nashville, Indiana. I spent way too much money, signed up for an upcoming classed offered by Karen Lockhart and had a fabulous day!
When we got home last Friday, I buried myself in the studio so that I could get my CHA projects for Graphic 45 done and out the door. I’ll be showing you a couple of those projects during CHA week . . . along with other updates from the floor! I think I’ll try and utilize Twitter a little better and do some new product tweets. Let’s get down to business now . . . As promised yesterday on my blog during my day of the CHA Blog Frenzy, I’m back to give you details on the second card!
The image is from Art Impressions Watercolor Projects 1-3 or Watercolor Garden. I first saw these sets at Winter CHA and absolutely fell in love with them. It’s a simple way to make a watercolor image and just have fun! The only limit with these sets is your imagination. Colors used are Victorian Velvet, Dusty Concord, Vintage Photo, Rusty Hinge, Wild Honey, Bundles Sage, Crushed Olive and Shabby Shutters.
The image was then die cut/embossed with Spellbinders circles and layered with the new Star Circle Die Templates. The border is made with the new Spellbinders Classic Ric Rac Edgeabilities and stenciled with Antique Linen Distress Ink.
Because the background of the card is pale, I decided to go with a bold ribbon to match the green cardstock. The seam binding was dyed with Forest Moss Distress Stain. I love the different tones of green you get with this deep green.

I know I’m not the only “blog friend” who missed not seeing projects lately, but am glad to know that things are getting under control, such as spending too much money on supplies. Your card is beautiful; love the water coloring and the way you make your ribbons work on it.

What product did you use to watercolor with? Regular w’colors, ink refills, ink pads, etc? This is absolutely gorgeous, and I’d love to be able to get this effect with my watercoloring. Hope you can answer this & thanks!
Sorry to hear your hubby had to go through surgery, hope he is feeling better. We drive through Indiana when we travel home to Michigan, i will have to see if that scrapbook store is on our way, tfs. Lovely card, beautiful watercolor effect!
