Good Monday morning!  The first time I saw the Graphic 45 Typography Collection, I knew that it was a must have.  Every time I look at the collection I envision something else that can be done.  My project today is one that I have been wanting to do since the collection came out  . .  for the gypsy in all of us!

DrawOutsideTheLines

My first instinct was to find some old crayons  . . . but then a pencil stub hit me . .  . so I had to go with both.

DrawOutsideTheLinesOval

Please pardon the glare on this one, the ICE Resin® over the crayon was a little difficult to photograph.

DrawOutsideTheLinesSquare

Who can’t resist drawing outside the lines . . .

DrawOutsideTheLinesPencil

Some colorful beads to mimic Crayola colors and one of my crossword pencils.

I LOVE it and now that I see it on the screen . . . I’ve just thought of another way to create it!

Thanks for stopping by today!

  4. Your are so smart. This is such a neat idea and turned out really cute!

  5. I have not seen this paper in person yet. I’ll be in Pheonix next week so I bet I’ll get to find some. I love the colors. I can’t tell but the crayon piece you embedded, is it totally under the resin, or it sticking out with dimension? Does that make sense or is it clear as mud?..LOL

If you are ever up in Portland/Beaverton, OR area I’d love to meet you. You seem like way too much fun and I’d love to have you teach a workshop in my new studio.

  6. This is fabulous! What a neat idea for using “everyday” things too.

  7. so very creative and fun, very cool!
