Good morning and welcome to the Rubbernecker Blog Stroll! Today Rubbernecker Stamps releases SIX (6) new sets that Mr. Rubbernecker has worked very hard to create!

To celebrate this release, we invite you to Blog Stroll along with the Rubbernecker Red-Hot Mommas. The Stroll begins at the Rubbernecker Stamps Blog where you will find the guidelines on how to win one of the five sets being given away during this release. If you haven’t started at the Rubbernecker Blog, you should go there as soon as possible. That’s where you’ll find the first clue to begin your Stroll.

I’m working with the new release, Scraps and Scuffs. I’ve been wanting a Rubbernecker Set like this for a long time and am so excited that it’s in my BAD little hands now!

For my card today, I used the scratch marks above as flower stems. I added flowers die cut and embossed to the stems. This is a little different for me, but I wanted to show you a different sample that what I did yesterday.

Good morning y’all! Today is Rubbernecker WACKY WEDNESDAY, and I have challenged the Rubbernecker Red-Hot Mommas and you, to include stitching (either machine, hand, and/or faux) on your cards. All the deets for this week’s challenge and how to participate are on the RN Blog.

What you will see today on the blogs’ of the Rubbernecker Red-Hot Mommas, are previews/sneak peeks of new sets that Rubbernecker will release tomorrow. There will be another Blog Stroll tomorrow and 5 readers will have a change to win any of the newest Rubbernecker Releases over the last couple of months. You’ll need to start at the RN Blog tomorrow and follow the clues along the way. You won’t be sorry!

Here’s the outside of my sample for today’s WACKY WEDNESDAY Challenge. It previews tomorrow’s Rubbernecker Release of 461 Scraps & Scuffs and 463 Flourish.

My stitching is done by machine and goes along the outside border. In particular, the stitching attaches a top flap that folds over. The Tim Holtz idea-ology pieces hold the flap in place so that it stays down.

Good morning! It’s a great day today . . . today is the day that my oldest, Kate, graduates from college! Can ya say WOO HOO! It’s been a long five years, especially after she had to change her major after being diagnosed with epilepsy. She has earned her Secondary Education Degree and is now looking for a position teaching chemistry, biology and/or physics. Cross your fingers for her!

So, moving on to today’s project! I had Stamp Club on Saturday and the way I’ve been working club this session, is that I have 3-4 projects for them to work on and then the hostess brings something to teach everyone. This works out great, as all my Club Members are experienced stampers and we all get to learn something new. One of the girls brought a gift purse template that she found on Martha Stewart’s site. I liked it so well that I had to start another when Club left.

Instead of gluing all the tabs inside to keep the purse completely closed, I left the front alone. It just seems that you could write a personal note on the flap and have a very special gift.

Hey y’all! I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty tired of all this rain. I was curled up on the bed this afternoon with one pup lying on my pillow and the other under the bed. Neither of them like thunderstorms!

Yesterday I started a card that I’ve been wanting to do forever. It’s actually a remake of one I’ve made a couple of times . . . . I guess you could say I cased myself. How many of you remember this card?

AND then there was this remake for the SCS Dirty Dozen Gallery . . .

For the last few years I’ve been wondering how Ethel would look with all the little peckers. Well, with the recent release of Spring Inchies by Rubbernecker Stamps I finally had the perfect little birds. I have to say that I quite like Ethel and her little peckers!
