My Final Post for eclectic Paperie!

Good morning one and all!  Today is a little bittersweet for me.  I’m sure most of you are already aware, eclectic Paperie is closing.  That also means the end of the blog and the design team.

We have had a fabulous run as members of the eclectic Paperie Design Team and wish to thank you all for your interest and support over the years. With the eP blog coming to a close at the end of the month, we all wanted to do something special to celebrate the fabulous friendships, tons of inspiration from other team members, from Kim, and from all those who participated in our challenges. Each of the current DT members is taking a day to post some of her favorite makes from her time on the eclectic Paperie team. We hope you enjoy the look back.

Today is my last post over on the eclectic Paperie Blog and I’m sharing some of my favorite projects from the last four years.  Join me and take a walk down memory lane!

Stenciled Altered Frame!

Good morning!  I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend.  I went with my mom and sister to a local art show on Sunday, where everyone found something special to purchase!  There were some fabulous new pottery booths (left my name in one to take a class or two) and found a (new to me) mixed media artist who used to work for Plaid.  Needless to say, that I was so taken by her work that I did purchase a couple of prints!  Then we hit one of the local junk stores where I found this . . .

all for $10.  My new Pinterest board, Wooden Spool Inspiration, is already filling up!

Now for today!  I have an altered frame posted over on the eclectic Paperie Blog today.  You really do need to hop over and take a look at the different photos and get all the details.  Used a new product from Art Anthology that I don’t know how I created without!

Oh and I have to give a shout out to my friend, Heidi Blankenship, who sent me all the fabulous ButterBeeScraps embellishments that I used for the middle!  I knew they were going to be fun the minute I opened the package!

Good morning!  I hope everyone is well and doing okay!  I’m getting ready to head out to StampAway in Cincy on Saturday.  It’s been a couple of years since I’ve been able to go so I’m pretty darn excited to get out among other stampers and be inspired!  If you are there, stop me and say “Hi!”

Today I have a watercolor card to share over on the eP Blog.  I hope you’ll stop in and take a look at all the other photos and the details.

Good morning!  I hope everyone is doing well and you’ve been able to stay out of trouble . . . It’s hard I know, but for some of us it’s pretty damn easy to stay in trouble all the time!

More and more these days, when I find that I have a deadline looming, it’s harder and harder for me to get into the studio to work.  Yesterday was one of those days . . . no ideas, no incentive, no plan, no mojo!   Sometimes I find that when the creativity bug fails to bite, I like to go back and pick up and recreate an older project.  The one I have for today, is exactly that . . . and this might be the third or fourth time that it’s been recreated.

I remember the first time I posted this design, you can see it here, I remember someone commenting that it made them sad.  My response was that it shouldn’t, because in my mind, she was a daredevil, a rebel so to speak, and flew and had fun when no one was watching her!  I still think the same today.

I did this project for the eclectic Paperie June ePlay Challenge, which was to use fabric.  Of course, I missed the deadline . . . go figure!  You can get all the details and more photos over on the eP Blog today!  I do hope you’ll visit me over there too!!
