Good morning!  Hope everyone is staying warm and you’re not buried under feet of snow.  We’ve had our first major snowstorm for the year and it’s been bitterly cold . . . let’s hope it warms up for all of us soon!

During the last month, I’ve been working on some favors for my sorority province meeting . . .  wish I had gotten a picture of the completed box.  I die cut and made some fabric flowers that were attached to the front of a take-out box which we put a few treats in.

I’ve also taken the time to organize and clean my work space.  I’m so glad I did . . . I finally feel that I have a room that suits me and that I actually like working in.  (If you follow me on Facebook, you can see all the photos there!)

I have a few projects in the beginning stages for Ken Oliver using his new products.  Love his new Color Burst!  These will be hopefully finished over the upcoming weekend and I’ll have a few things to share next week.

The last few days I’ve been working on a project for Quietfire Design.

I used lots of old product that I’ve had in my stash for some time:  An old Darcie’s Offset Square Shadowbox Frame, GrungePaper, Tattered Floral die (I know . . . don’t faint).  I also used some new Graphic 45 paper I picked up at CHA, Artisan Style, and a Quietfire stamp.  Please hop over to the Quietfire Creations Blog, check out all the details and more photos.  I would love it if you could leave me a comment over there and let Suzanne know you visited!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Good morning!  I hope everyone is doing well and you’ve been able to stay out of trouble . . . It’s hard I know, but for some of us it’s pretty damn easy to stay in trouble all the time!

More and more these days, when I find that I have a deadline looming, it’s harder and harder for me to get into the studio to work.  Yesterday was one of those days . . . no ideas, no incentive, no plan, no mojo!   Sometimes I find that when the creativity bug fails to bite, I like to go back and pick up and recreate an older project.  The one I have for today, is exactly that . . . and this might be the third or fourth time that it’s been recreated.

I remember the first time I posted this design, you can see it here, I remember someone commenting that it made them sad.  My response was that it shouldn’t, because in my mind, she was a daredevil, a rebel so to speak, and flew and had fun when no one was watching her!  I still think the same today.

I did this project for the eclectic Paperie June ePlay Challenge, which was to use fabric.  Of course, I missed the deadline . . . go figure!  You can get all the details and more photos over on the eP Blog today!  I do hope you’ll visit me over there too!!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy seeing this favorite project of mine reworked in another way!

Good morning!  What a wild and crazy productive weekend creating in the studio!  When I looked at my calendar for the month of May, I found that I was pretty well triple booked for the first few days.  Nothing like giving this BAD girl an incentive to get her behind in the studio.  I almost said flabby fanny  . . . BUT . . . if you aren’t following me on Facebook, I’ve lost 45 pounds since October.  It’s not such much a flabby fanny anymore!!

I’ve got to projects today!  The first one is for eclectic Paperie and is my take on the ePlay Challenge for this month, Get Stenciled!  You’ve still got plenty of time this month to play along.

My second project is for Quietfire Design.  Suzanne made us this great “Thanks” stamp that we could fill up with all sorts of doodles or tangles.
