Good morning!  I meant to get this post worked up last night and ready for you first things this morning, but . . . there were too many finals on last night for me to watch.  How could they put American Idol, Glee and Dancing with the Stars on all at the same time?  I mean really . . .  but by putting Dancing off until the last hour, I was able to see all three.

Yesterday I said that I would finally show one of my Graphic 45 projects.  If you checked out the G45 Blog yesterday you’ve already seen it.  For those of you who missed it, here it is!

For this one, a spiral-bound notebook made from Curtain Call.

Thanks for stopping by and remember . . . life is short, embrace the adventures of the day!

I told you yesterday that I would have a tutorial on Splitcoaststampers today.  Well it’s up and it’s all about Alcohol Inks and Faux Bleach/Batik.  You can find the written tutorial here.

Hey y’all!  I have a video to share with you today.  Back in December 2008, I wrote this Color Wash Faux Bleach Tutorial for Splitcoaststampers.  Recently I received an email from Beate Johns asking me if I could do a video for the tutorial.  Each week in the Splitcoaststampers Weekly Inkling, Beate revisits a tutorial someone might have missed and forgot about.  This week they are revisiting Color Wash Faux Bleach Tutorial.

I ended up with two parts to the video even though I tried to cut it down.  I at first thought I would end with the first video and edited and produced the video as such.  The more I thought about the tutorial, I knew I couldn’t stop there.  The second part contains such good information on using alcohol inks and I knew I had to share it.

So without further blabbering, here’s the first part which contains information on using Ranger Color Wash and then with water-based reinkers.

Part 2 of the video uses Ranger alcohol inks to do the technique.

I hope you enjoy them and you find something new.

Thanks for stopping by today and remember . . . life is short, don’t regret tomorrow the adventure you may have passed up today!
