Good Monday morning! I hope y’all had a fabulous weekend. I spent yesterday recuperating from Saturday’s big party. I knew I shouldn’t have eaten all that junk but oh my golly . . . the beer was so icy cold and the food smelled so good!
After lolling around in the recliner most of the day working on some blog stuff and there was a race I had to run . . . I ended up in the studio working on a card. Now seriously, this card took me all of 30 minutes to make even with the sewing.
Did I tell you how much I LOVE the new Webster’s Pages I got from Sharon at the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store? Oh my goodness . . . did you see me drool? This time I used the combo pack Lullaby Lane and Life’s Portrait. The design on the bottom of the paper is so gorgeous I couldn’t for the life of me cover it!
The stamp set is another Wordsworth Remembering, Life Affirming. I stamped the flowers in the background using Old Paper and then the sentiment was stamped in black.

GREAT card, Sherry! I agree — I can’t cover up those pretty sheets either! But, all is well — makes for a quick card — and THAT is good!!! TFS!!! Glad you had a nice party!
Beautiful card! You shouldn’t let on how quickly you put them together. It looks quite complicated to me! ;o)
I love the Webster’s papers too but I haven’t been brave enough to use mine. I take them out and admire them, turn them over and admire them some more and then tuck them away again, to await a special project! Hehehe!!! Hope it’s soon ’cause I am going to have them worn out from looking at them!!! 😀
Glad you enjoyed your weekend and thanks for sharing your creation! :o)
Very Beautiful Edna
Gorgeous card Sherry! Gorgeous papers and perfect bow:)
I know what you mean about these paper… love them! Gorgeous card, Sherry!
I wouldn’t have been able to cover up that corner image either!! Just lovely
Beautiful! Just love Webster’s Pages.
I just LOVE those stamps!!
Covering up the paper would be hard for me to do too. They are really making some beautiful papers these days and all they need is a sentiment. Oh how I wish I could sew. TFS!!! Sherry. 😀
Beautiful card as usual!! And dont you just love that Lullaby Lane line of paper?
Another beautiful card.. I do love that paper!!! So glad you didn’t cover that up! It’s just to pretty to cover.
This is an absolutely gorgeous card.
Gorgeous, Sherry!
