Well, I have to apologize for not keeping up my posts this week. I let things backlog, stamping mojo wasn’t working, and found myself scrambling at the end to get ready for the Fan Club Gallery. What I’ve learned this month, is that I cannot let the challenges on SCS go. I’m finding that by not doing them, I’m settling into a stamping slump and really need something to push me. So my vow to myself is to do the challenges, have to keep the creative juices flowing!
This card is actually a combination for today’s Ways to Use it Challenge, WT104, and yesterday’s Sketch Challenge, SC115.
I started with a piece of Whisper White paper, using my sea sponge, sponged Pretty in Pink on the paper. Once it was dry I ran it through the cuttlebug and then cut it up into 3 separate layers. The flower is made using the CB die (help me, I can’t remember the name) and then a rhinestone was mounted in the center. After it was done, I felt the panels needed just something a little extra, so I stitched around each individual panel.
The base of the card and the pink layers of the flower and main panel is made using Iced Pink paper from Prism Papers.

Oh, this is so very pretty! I agree…I haven’t been doing them either lately and I get into a “funk” …gotta go visit them. Beautiful cards in the DD!
Beautiful card! A really smart and very talented stamper advised me to try to stamp everyday and to do the challenges. 🙂 The DD gallery is divine this month ~ great work!
Oh, look at that sentiment! I love when you create, Sherry!
